Jack McLaughlin

ACTOR • VOICE ACTOR • MOCAP ACTOR

LONDON • DUBLIN

Howdy, I’m Jack - an Irish actor from Dublin, and based in London. I am sadly a Jack of one trade, but it’s a trade I hold dear. Performance is something I’ve been fascinated by my entire life, whether as an audience member or as a stage player, and it’s something I will always pursue.

I studied acting at The Academy of Dramatic Arts(AADA)in their 2-year acting conservatory in New York City. I was offered a spot in their 3rd-year acting company, where I performed as a representative of the school across 4 seasons of shows. Through my time at AADA, I played many different and exciting roles, but some of my favourites were: Neil in “The Play About My Dad” by Boo Killebrew, Bill in “Trouble in Mind” by Alice Childress, and The Mastiff in “The Moors” by Jen Silverman.

During the Pandemic, I moved back home to Ireland, then headed over to London, post-lockdown, to get back into doing what I love.

I am a Co-founder of the joint AADA Alumni-run Theatre Company: “Giggle Riot” and have helped produce, and performed in their shows, as Paris in “Juliet & Romeo”(2021) by Tom Inman, which won the Offie Award for Best Short Run, and as Rian in “Night Light”(2023) by Maeve O’Haire and Tom Chandler, which was nominated for Offie awards for Best New Play and for Best Set Design.

I have a strong background in stage and theatre performance, as well as voice acting, audio narration, and motion and performance capture.

I am now also a playwright, with my debut play, ‘Cabin Fervour’, set to be debuted in early 2026.
